【Breakfast & Food】Morning Burger × Dandadan Collaboration Review: Pork Loin Cutlet and Egg Burger, Double-Egg Taiwanese Egg Pancake, Turbo Granny Drink Cup, and Random Collectible Cards

As a fan of Dandadan, I was excited to hear about the collaboration with Morning Burger. So, one weekend morning, I headed to a Morning Burger location to enjoy breakfast and collect some of the limited-edition collaboration merchandise.

Store Atmosphere and Ordering

The indoor dining area at Morning Burger Fengnan Concept Store is quite spacious, featuring warm wood-toned decor and large floor-to-ceiling windows that let in plenty of natural light. The aisles and spacing between tables are comfortable, creating a relaxed atmosphere without the greasy smell or crowded feeling often associated with traditional Taiwanese breakfast shops.

The tabletops feature an engraved smile-shaped logo, while a tidy self-service station is set up at the back with straws, tissues, utensils, and disposable gloves. Customers can help themselves to whatever they need.

Since I was here specifically for the Dandadan collaboration, I went ahead and ordered the two featured combo meals. The first was the NT$129 Double-Egg Comeback Set, which included a Taiwanese egg pancake with two eggs, McNuggets, and a large Morning Burger signature milk tea.

The second was the NT$149 Muscle-Building Energy QQ Ball Set, featuring a pork loin cutlet and egg burger, two-color sweet potato QQ balls, and an unsweetened iced Americano.

After checking the items in my cart, I placed the order directly on my phone. Overall, the ordering process was quite convenient!

Food Review

After waiting a little while, our freshly made orders started arriving at the table. The spread included a pork loin cutlet and egg burger, a Taiwanese egg pancake with two eggs, two-color sweet potato QQ balls, McNuggets, an iced Americano, a large iced milk tea, and the items I was most excited about: the Dandadan collaboration collectible cards and Turbo Granny drink sleeves.

Everything looked colorful and appetizing laid out on the table, and getting the Dandadan merchandise with the meals made me even happier, haha!

Pork Loin Cutlet and Egg Burger

First up was the Pork Loin Cutlet and Egg Burger from the Muscle-Building Energy Set. The burger was served in a small bamboo basket lined with paper, and it felt satisfyingly hefty when I picked it up. From the side, you could see the layers of fried egg, a thick-cut pork loin cutlet, and fresh lettuce tucked between the buns.

The pork cutlet was nicely thick, with a firm texture and subtle notes of black pepper and savory sauce. It wasn’t dry or tough when bitten into, and its slightly juicy texture paired well with the crisp lettuce and soft bun. Overall, it was quite filling!

The burger wrapper was also covered with Dandadan characters, which made it super cute! Turbo Granny was especially adorable~

It almost felt like I was having breakfast together with Okarun, Momo, Granny Seiko, Jiji, Turbo Granny, and Aira. What a fun little breakfast moment for a Dandadan fan!

Double-Egg Taiwanese Egg Pancake

The other plate featured the main dish from the Double-Egg Comeback Set: the Double-Egg Taiwanese Egg Pancake. The outer layer was pan-fried to a golden brown, with lightly crisp, toasted marks on the surface.

You could clearly see the extra thickness from the two layers of egg cooked together, giving it a much richer egg flavor than a regular Taiwanese egg pancake made with just one egg.

The slightly crispy yet tender pancake paired perfectly with the warm, soft scrambled egg inside. Savory, comforting, and easy to enjoy, it was a classic taste of a traditional Taiwanese breakfast!

Golden Chicken Nuggets with a Serpo Alien Flag

The side dish came with a small plate of freshly fried chicken nuggets. The cutest detail was the little purple flag featuring a Serpoian from Dandadan stuck into the nuggets, adding a fun touch and making the dish even more photo-worthy!

I picked up a hot chicken nugget with a fork and took a bite. The golden coating was crispy, while the chicken inside was firm and tender. The nuggets were also drained of excess oil quite well, making them a nice little fried treat to enjoy for breakfast.

Two-Color Sweet Potato QQ Balls with a Seiko Ayase Flag

The side dish included with the Muscle-Building Energy Set was Two-Color Sweet Potato QQ Balls, served with a Dandadan collaboration flag featuring Seiko Ayase attached to the side of the bowl.

Inside were a mix of golden-yellow sweet potato balls and purple sweet potato balls, adding a colorful touch to the dish!

The sweet potato balls had a lovely texture, with lightly crispy exteriors and a pleasantly chewy bite. Once bitten into, the filling was naturally sweet. The combination of the two colors and flavors was sweet without being overwhelming, making them a perfect little treat to enjoy after the meal!

Americano and Turbo Granny Drink Sleeve (Large Iced Milk Tea)

The Double-Egg Comeback Set came with a large Morning Burger signature milk tea, served in a brightly colored cup featuring the Dandadan collaboration design of Turbo Granny holding a taiyaki (fish-shaped cake). The playful design was absolutely adorable and made me want to take the cup home as a souvenir!

The Muscle-Building Energy Set came with an iced Americano. It had a pleasantly smooth, slightly bitter taste without any harsh acidity, making it a great choice to balance out the rich flavors of the burger and fried sides.

Unboxing the Limited-Edition Dandadan Collectible Cards

After finishing breakfast and heading home, it was finally time for the most exciting part: opening the limited-edition collectible card pack that came with the meal!

The silver foil pouch featured previews of all the characters in the collection. Holding it in my hands, I couldn’t help but feel excited about which card I would get. The surprise made the unboxing even more fun!

The results of opening these two collectible card packs were quite a pleasant surprise!

The first card featured Aira Shiratori, with a shiny holographic finish that reflected the light beautifully. The second card featured Bamora wearing her alien monster suit. Both cards were exciting additions to my Dandadan collection!

The back of each card features neat red-and-white geometric lines paired with the official DAN DA DAN logo in English.

The cards themselves are also pretty good quality. A big thank-you to Muse Communication for this Dandadan collaboration. I absolutely love it!
